Want to Help?
Even distributing one pack of 50 flyers helps.
Have a suggestion or local concern? Send it to Andrii.
Getting Flyers
You can view or share A City That Works for Residents online.
Want copies to give to friends or deliver in your neighbourhood?
- Pick up packs of 50 on Thursdays from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at 254 8th Street East. You can request one pack or several packs.
- Email Andrii at andrii@zvorygin.ca, and Andrii or another volunteer can drop one or more packs of 50 off in your mailbox.
- Print your own copies if that is more convenient. Please email Andrii first so any printing supplied to the campaign can be recorded properly.
Delivering Flyers
Ways to Share Flyers
You can help in either of these ways.
Give flyers to people you know
Share them with friends, family, neighbours, coworkers, or other people you know.
You can simply give them a flyer and talk about the campaign if they are interested.
Deliver flyers to homes
For neighbourhood delivery, use the canvassing app. It shows which homes are still available to flyer and helps volunteers coordinate coverage across Owen Sound.
- Open the canvassing app and log in.
- Grey roofs are homes that are still available to flyer.
- Choose where you want to deliver:
- Near home: zoom to your neighbourhood and deliver to nearby grey roofs.
- Next Area: zoom out until you can see the Next Area circle, then zoom in and go to the recommended area.
- Deliver flyers to the homes you choose.
- Open Menu → Bulk Select Homes.
- Tap the roofs of the houses where you actually delivered flyers.
- Mark them all as flyered.
Next Area is a recommendation. You can also deliver to grey roofs near your own home.
Talking to People
Flyer delivery can be as simple as putting flyers in mailboxes.
Conversations can happen naturally in a few ways:
- If someone is outside while you are delivering, you can say hello and introduce the campaign.
- If someone comes to the door while you are there, you can use the opportunity for a friendly conversation.
- If you would like to speak with more residents, you can also knock on doors, especially when it looks like someone may be home.
When a conversation happens, keep it friendly and natural:
Start simply
Hi, how are you?
Wait for them to respond, then say:
I'm with Andrii Zvorygin's campaign for Mayor. We're offering affordable housing, lower property taxes, and improved neighbourhood cohesion. Are there any issues you'd like resolved in the City?
For a quick interaction
Here's a flyer if you'd like to have a look. Have a good day.
Keep the exchange brief, thank them for their time, and continue to the next home.
When They Mention an Issue
Use the flyer as your quick reference:
If they want more detail, the flyer gives links to the full platform and individual plans.

When they ask about Andrii
Match the question to the relevant subsection on Page 1 — Andrii's Preparation for Mayor:
- Government relationships: for relationships, ability to work with governments, County or other officials: work with Owen Sound and Grey County mayors, deputy mayors, councillors and staff, plus provincial and federal engagement.
- Budget & City operations: for finances, business experience, budgeting, administration or City operations: reviewing City spending, debt, staffing and service delivery; profitable farm and IT businesses; Grey Bruce Makerspace Treasurer; and former federal campaign treasurer.
- Transparency in practice: for transparency, HelpOS or making government easier to follow: HelpOS and making local government easier to follow.
- Long-range technical collaboration: for technical knowledge, energy, resources or long-range planning: ongoing discussions with scientists and engineers.
Briefly explain the relevant part in your own words and point it out in the flyer.
If they mention another candidate
Keep the comparison respectful and acknowledge that many candidates may share similar goals:
A lot of candidates agree on the goals. What Andrii brings is detailed multi-phase planning, existing working relationships to help get things implemented, and the business experience to build a budget that can actually support the plan.
Point them to Page 4 — Compare the Candidates. Page 4 provides Mayor candidates and Council candidates. You can also read more about Andrii's preparation for Mayor, or read The Most Relevant Experience for Mayor.
When they raise a new issue or idea
That's a good point. I'll write that down for Andrii.
Record the issue or idea on the canvassing form so Andrii can review it.
If the resident is open to follow-up, ask for their preferred contact information and record it on the canvassing form as well, so Andrii can get back to them directly.
When they support Andrii
You can ask:
Would you volunteer to help distribute some flyers?
If they say yes:
- Give them some of the flyers you already have with you right away.
- If you have an extra pack of 50, you can give them the full pack.
- Record their name and preferred email address or phone number on the canvassing form.
- Tell them to watch for an email or text with their canvassing-app username and password.
- Once they receive the login, they can use the Volunteer Hub and canvassing app to find the Next Area and record the homes they flyer.
If they want a lawn sign
For a supportive resident on a high-traffic street, you can also ask:
Would you be willing to have an Andrii for Mayor sign here?
For a sign request, collect the required information and signature.
What to Record
Use the canvassing form for useful campaign follow-up:
- new issues or ideas;
- volunteer interest;
- lawn-sign requests;
- requests for Andrii to follow up;
- name and preferred contact information when provided.
For lawn signs, also complete the paper sign form and obtain the resident's signature.
For new volunteers, record their preferred contact information so the campaign can follow up. The signup form above is available whenever they would like to use it later.
Thursday Help and Canvassing

How the Campaign Will Progress
Now and September: Flyers, signs, canvassing, volunteer growth, campaign events, and getting Andrii’s platform in front of residents across Owen Sound.
Early October: More direct conversations, answering residents’ questions, explaining the parts of the platform they care about, and identifying supporters who can help with flyers, signs, or reaching people they know.
October 16–26: Voting is open. Focus increasingly shifts to making sure supporters know how and when to vote. How to Vote.
October 27–30: Retrieve Andrii campaign signs from supporters’ lawns and return them to Andrii.
