Before submitting
For each question, select Support, Support with qualifications, Oppose, or Undecided. Candidates may provide an optional explanation with every answer. “No response” is recorded automatically when a candidate has yet to answer.
Only people currently listed as registered Owen Sound councillor candidates may submit through this form. The candidate list is read from the HelpOS registered-candidate directory and remains subject to change while nominations are open.
Submissions are saved as pending verification. HelpOS sends a verification link to the submitted email address, compares it with the candidate's publicly registered email where available, and requires administrative approval before publication. A candidate without a published email can be verified manually.
Candidate email addresses are used for verification and follow-up and are never published through this form. Previous verified versions remain available internally when a candidate submits an update.
Publication and corrections
Approved answers will appear individually on the Council Candidate Alignment on Key Principles chart with the candidate's comment, evidence type, source where applicable, and response date. HelpOS will not calculate an overall compatibility percentage.
Candidates who believe an answer or source has been recorded inaccurately can request a correction through the contact information in their confirmation email or by emailing andrii@zvorygin.ca.
