The federal government is expanding its return-to-office mandate for public servants this year, requiring employees in the core public administration to be onsite at least four days per week.
For those whose work activities support it, working from home (or staff-driven hybrid) results in the same or better productivity and better mental health outcomes.
Back to the office directives are created for a number of reasons, all of them terrible.
