President Donald Trump’s approval rating dropped to 36%, its lowest level since his return to the White House, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Despite Trump’s declining overall popularity, 38% of registered voters polled said Republicans had better stewardship of the U.S. economy, compared to 34% of voters who picked Democrats on the topic.

The GOP would have to basically destroy the world economy before the average US voter even started to think Democrats could do a slightly better job with the US economy.

TL;DR: A small percentage of voters woke up and smelled the coffee, but there are still a lot of stupid/willfully ignorant people out there.

And we need to start talking about how we’re going to deal with them after the midterms/2029. As far as I’m concerned their support of this regime should cost them dearly, both monetarily (to fix what they’ve wrought) as well as losing their right to vote. If they don’t want democracy they lose their ability to steal it from the rest of us.

I think it would be more accurate to say a small percentage of Republicans have recently been negatively affected personally.
