There’s literally nothing the US can do, it’s basically Romans with the tribal confederacy’s of Germanania. Doesn’t matter how good your tech or how big your empire is when the people fighting you have home field advantage, out number you locally, and your leaders are inept at best. The best way to win is to not fight, but Trump and everyone around him is too stupid and too bellicose to know this so here we go anyways. I fucking hate the feds with a burning passion, the selfish sociopathic side of me hopes for a civil war so I can kill at least one and get congratulations for it, the humanist side of me thinks that’s stupid and hopes for a largely peaceful break up of the United States.
