    It doesn’t surprise me that a bumbling dipstick like Vance believes this.

    Vance is utterly cynical. It’s not clear to me that he believes in anything but the self-promotion of Vance.

      Yeah, he seems like he’s sold his soul to the very Republican political machine. He “believes” whatever Republican inertia points toward.
