Maryland Democrat Ed Hale announced this week he is switching parties to become a Republican and run against Democratic Governor Wes Moore, who is up for reelection in the 2026 midterms.

Hale said during the launch event that he does not believe he would be able to defeat Moore in the Democratic primary, according to WBFF.
This has nothing to do with people participating in Democratic primaries, Moore is decently progressive won his primary became governor, now you have just shitty fucking Democrat being a typical shitty Democrat.
