As President Donald Trump’s poll numbers have hit new lows amid the Iran war, there’s now the firmest evidence yet of a long-anticipated dynamic: the regretful Trump voter.
Some of his supporters will accept anything with a smile as long as it’s their side doing it. Some are so drowned in right wing media bullshit that they might as well be living in a parallel universe. And some will just be so averse to criticizing Trump (particularly in a poll which is likely to have political remifications) that they’ll defend or ignore almost anything bad, even if they do hate it.

Yep. Just like some are only on the Trump train because they’re afraid of the social ramifications of saying anything bad about him.
In some circles, saying a single bad word about Trump will get you ostracized, shunned, and perhaps even targeted by violence.
They would let Trump take a shit in their mouths if they thought a Dem would have to smell it.
