The immigration judges’ abrupt dismissals marked the latest efforts by the Trump administration to reshape the country’s immigration courts.
Immigration judges are executive branch employees who can be fired, unlike Senate -confirmed judges under article III. This is part of a broader pattern

I mean, Trump is worse than Hitler. You know that, right?
He wants to genocide more people than Hitler AND is a pedophile.
I mean, I do not say this lightly. It’s not like there are a lot of people who fit that criteria.
It’s not about what you do. It’s not about what you succeed in being able to do. It IS very much about what your goals are and what you hope to be able to do, and Trump has made clear that his ambitions are to be worse than Hitler AND that he is a pedophile in addition to that.
And that’s not even to mention the horrific look on Ivanka’s face and her voice when she looked at her childhood bed.

In the end, we will count the dead and compare numbers and cry about how fucked up that is. But right now there’s no need to do so. Better do what we can to stop Mr. Orange.
I don’t think doing a competition between genocidal leaders is worth having.
Having said that. It’s NOT about who is more evil in their head. It is absolutely about the material impact and results of actions.
Some loser without and influence or power can have the worst ideas and plans for human extinction in there head. It really doesn’t matter to me if they have no actual ability or influence to carry them out. There have been a million “worse than Hitler” people throughout human history that you and I don’t know the name of then. At least by that logic.
You are right though in a sense. The potential impact of a genocidal leader with the power and influence of the American empire can result in much more substantial death and destruction than Hitler could ever dream of. This is what makes Trump (or any fascist that follows him) have the potential to be so much worse.
But, again, if I was going to engage in a “who is worse” competition (that I still think is meaningless) I would still have to judge it on the material outcomes and not who is a worse guy “in their head”. What’s in their head can only come to impact through their position and extent of power.
There are plenty of people that are genocidal pedophiles “in their head”. But they can’t actually act upon those ideas because they didn’t get put into positions of power and influence. The material outcomes are the only way to actually engage in a conversation like this.
Otherwise there is always some potentially worse person that existed or could exist. Limiting it only to the extent of the human imagination to cause pain to others. Which is not really a meaningful conversation to have.
TLDR: You’re pointing to Trump because of the material position he holds and the real power and influence his ideas can have. But then say that the ideas are all that matters to judge “who is worse”. If the “ideas” are all that matter there is no reason to point to Trump or Hitler over any other person in history or the future with genocidal ideas. It is specifically the material impact that makes their ideas matter. You can’t ignore the material outcomes. The entire reason we know their names is because of those outcomes.
I didn’t say that it’s ambitions alone.
Trump is 80 years old and has a track record which includes an 80-year crime spree which seems to include literally almost every crime that would be on a list of crimes people would come up with if asked to randomly name as many crimes as they could, AND serial rape AND pedophilia AND likely individual murderers AND the likely rape of his daughter God knows how many times.
Unfortunately, I think Trump’s impact may be greater than Hitler. If nothing else, he has completely shattered a lot of assumptions about what is possible for the U.S. and the whole world, and he’s already gotten millions of people killed(through Covid, to start, through basically destroying USAID, through the Holocaust he’s literally working on within the United States, through starving countless people worldwide, through denying healthcare, through renditioning people to torture prisons in countries they have no connection to, et cetera.
And he literally threatened to wipe a civilization off the planet the same day.
He has significantly more weapons than Hitler, and significantly more ambition, a population that’s 4–5 times the population of Germany’s during World War 2, and has already announced his intention to invade countless countries and has already gone in guns blazing into at least two.
Hitler was terrible, sure.
But let’s not give any historians reading this in the distant future any idea that Donald Trump hasn’t already been doing a bunch of horrible things. It’s not like he’s gotten to 80 years old and is just starting his list of bad stuff right now. He’s trying to add nuclear holocausts(plural) and serial genocide as the cherry on top to a lifetime of other crimes.
I am by no means saying Hitler wasn’t an ABSOLUTELY horrible monster.
I hope TO GOD that the history books have more reason to remember Hitler than to remember Trump.
But I fear that might not be the case.
Furthermore Hitler was put there by years of oppression. Genuine reasons.
Trump was put there by the refusal to vote and hatred for minorities. Pathetic shit.
It is kind of maybe a tiny bit about what you do… Setting the two names aside, it’d probably be worse to have somebody kill a billion people than to want to kill a trillion?
