5·6 days agoNowadays Quebec separating would be as difficult as Alberta’s. I’m no historian, but it is my understanding that back when Quebec’s referendum occurred the separation could have been enacted by the Federal Government submitting the request to British Parliament which had the authority to grant it at the time.
A couple years later the Constitution Act relinquished all British Authority and based our Constitution in Canada. As it stands in the current Constitution separation is not allowed and as such the video explains all that would be subsequently required to get this to happen.


This accident just doesn’t make sense for so many reasons. Based on radio communications it sounds like the Ground Controller errantly gave emergency vehicles permission to cross. Regardless, every child, let alone professional driver, gets instruction to check both ways before crossing traffic. How do you not see a plane coming in to land?
