  • I’m generally an NDP voter and have been most of my adult life but I had to vote Liberal in the last Federal Election because the threat of Trump winning a few months earlier and having Poilievre as our PM with the absolute clown show south of us is a risk I was unwilling to take.

I’d love nothing more than to vote NDP federally. But if you think things suck now, imagine Lib/NDP voters split and PP is our PM. He’d totally lean into the 51st state shit.

Yes, I understand I’m part of the overarching problem. But I’m also queer married to a trans person and the last thing my family needs is this version of the Conservative government under PP. What’s happening in Alberta is a litmus test for the federal CPCs. If you abhor what Smith and the UPCs are doing in Alberta to education, trans rights, queer rights, etc… That will be all of Canada under a CPC Poilievre government.

  • Capitalism: We want to milk you for every penny you have to spare in order to line the pockets of the elite while giving you less and less in order to create profit for corporations and shareholders.

Socialism: We want to create a structure that everyone pays into that benefits everyone. Your taxes pay for public transportation, healthcare, education, and everything is accessible to everyone because everyone pays into everything.

Idiots: I think I still prefer the former because lazy or homeless people might benefit from the latter.
