I’d vote for him a thousand times in the general, but fuck do these religious type of politicians sicken me. Check out these nerds trying to at me about his separation of church and state stance, blah blah blah, he’s literally campaigning in the literal church.

Maybe he’s whats needed in a purple state, though? Unlikely, Republicans fall in line while Democrats have to fall in love.

If you want others to fall in line then maybe that’s what you should do instead of complaining about the candidate that won the primary. Say something positive about the only dude with a shot at winning a Senate seat in Texas

“I’d vote for him a thousand times” is a pretty glowing review, imo. The alternative is a theocrat with a red tie, and fuck those guys.

The endorsement loses quite a bit of steam when you follow it up with a statement that makes it sound like you disagree with everything he stands for though, wouldn’t you agree?

I disagree with about 78% of what he stands for, theocracy is pure evil and religion being the foundation of his political beliefs is inherently corrupt, but I disagree with the GOP candidate 98% at least, so obviously we need this fucker to win.

Winning in Texas is a long shot with anyone. A white Christian man is exactly the kind of person you need to run there, especially one attempting to push back against MAGAs hold on Christian voters using socialist language from the Bible and calling out Republican hypocrisy. If you want to play identity politics games just so you can end up with another Hakeem Jefferies you’re only going to lose by a wider margin. That’s the kind of shit that got us here in the first place.

sorry, i’m not sure that looking for some representation that isn’t old white christian dudes is ‘identity politics’.

it seems like having some other kinds of voices that represent what our nation actually looks like would be beneficial for all of us.

hakeem jeffries is fuken a milquetoast shit gibbon waiting to pelosi his way to riches beyond the imagination. fuck that guy.

He’s the only one with a shot of winning because he just won the primary and is now the only Democrat running. If Crockett won, she’d be the only one with a shot.
